I have over 30 years’ experience as a primary and special needs teacher with a passion for creative learning. I believe that children learn best when they are learning in a safe and supportive environment in a style and manner that suits their individual needs.

I began my teaching career in Derbyshire, working with children with specific learning needs. After a family move to West Sussex and a break to bring up my own children I began working in primary education. Gaining teaching experience across all year groups and working as Acting Deputy Head and lead Safeguarding Officer. I gained a SENDCO qualification which I used in a school setting before leaving to tutor children privately.
